Attending to clearance at airport, container Depots and responding to queries raised by ZIMRA timely
Preparation of shipments to be tracked for the day and tracking them
Tracking pre-alerts through emails and telephone
Calculation of duties and tariff classification as required by clients
Framing bills of entries and registering them with ZIMRA
Submitting entries and all supporting documents to ZIMRA
Following up on shipments status and updating clients accordingly
Following up outstanding duty payments with clients
Liaising with customs clerks and invoicing clerks on accurate charging
Liaising with the Transport Department on the delivery and collection of shipments
Compiling Airfreight shipments daily update at the end of each day
Requesting for release and permits fees
Liaising with Airlines on exports bookings and cutting of Airway Bills
Attending to removals in bond from the border posts for consumption or warehousing
Confirming bank transfers with ZIMRA for receipting purposes
